Upright, evergreen broadleaf tree. May be deciduous, but can be evergreen too. Flowers are creamy white, with a lemon scent. Blooms late spring to early fall.

Magnolia 'Vulcan' (red)
Bred in New Zealand, Vulcan has large (up to 10") stunning port wine blooms which cover the tree in early spring. These woody trees tolerate all but the coldest temperatures. This tree is grown mainly for its outstanding large colourful flowers.

Magnolia x 'Asian Artistry' (pink)
A very vigorous, bushy, tree with handsome, olive green leaves and many beautiful, 10 to 12 inch wide, flat to flaring, bright pink flowers having 9 to 12 tepals. These large, imposing flowers have the wonderful, intoxicating fragrance of 'Diva' and are pearly white on the inside being stained deep red-purple at the base of the tepals. It blooms at a much younger age than 'Diva' and grows much faster. It is hardy both north and south. (Magnolia denudata x Magnolia sprengeri 'Diva').

Magnolia x 'Heaven Scent' (pink)
A late flowering, deciduous magnolia with an upright habit when young, later spreading. The goblet-shaped, fragrant blooms are pale pink on the outside and white inside, and appear from mid-spring to early summer, avoiding most frosts. It is one of the best magnolias available for the small garden. Likes moist, well-drained, acidic soil. Moderately vigorous, expect blooms in April to June. Flowers are fragrant, pale pink. Requires minimal pruning.
