Slow growing, low, compact mounding evergreen shrub to about 3 foot high and 3 foot wide. Hardy to about -30 degrees F. Sun to partial sun. Bluish-green, azalea-like foliage that turns bronze in winter. Purple-blue flowers cover the plant in May.
