This Japanese maple has a captivating rounded habit, and it thrives well in zones 5 to 7, offering a splendid display of fall color in vibrant shades of orange and red. It is best situated in partial to full shade, with a recommended temperature range that is consistent with its hardiness zone. Its flowers are inconspicuous, allowing the foliage to remain the star of the show. Preferring well-drained, acidic to neutral soil, it develops a graceful, broadly spreading canopy when mature. Emphasizing its graceful form, this tree typically reaches a height of 15 to 20 feet. Although it does not produce fruit, it is appreciated for its ornamental qualities, and its moderate deer resistance makes it a reliable choice for garden enthusiasts.

We can coordinate freight through common carrier freight companies for customers outside our local area. Charges will depend on current freight rates and size of load. Minimum order is $2500 with a $300 minimum freight. Please place order well ahead to allow time for making arrangements. Our responsibility for the plants will cease when they leave our nursery.
